So when nct has 30+ members...
lets be real we are 1 unit off from being that big [only need 9 new members]

i think there units sm could do just to boast about how big the group is xD


NCT Leaders:
So a unit of all the leaders
so: Taeyong Kun Mark
+maybe Ten Jaemin Yuta & Renjun
[Im assuming also there will be: Ten/ nct thai Jaemin/the new unit for Korea and maybe Yuta/ NCT Japan possibly Renjun/ new china unit]


NCT Youth or w.e
The youngest member of every unit
Jisung [dream] Haechan [127] Yangyang [wayv]
+ members from new units
[im assuming they would add chenle to this just for chenji tbh]

Ngl I think Chenle, If we do get a new china unit (Still hoping for TenLe in WayV tho), would be leader over Renjun.
Chenle had grown up a lot in the past year or two and he seems really ambitious, responsible and just overall reliable.

renjun is older though and acts older i think they would want to keep him innocent for longer
plus renjun is more mature than chenle by alot

Well yeah Renjun is older.... but as for maturity... I honestly don't know by this point.
When Dream debuted 100%, like 2 years ago I would have still agreed with you as well....

But during around Boom era I think something shifted in how I saw Chenle. He grew up I would say.
But that SM might want to keep his image innocent, that I can see.

sm only likes chenle as a side kick to jisung apart from that they dont care for him
plus renjun fan base is bigger..

also renjun is fluent in korean and chinese
if they do what they have done with wayv and promote in both countries
it makes sense for it to be renjun as chenle admitted in the making of riding that his korean has got bad

But SM doesn't give leader to members they intend to push.
Leader is a functional position in SM, not like.... Who is going to be pushed or popular.

Kun has never been a pushed member
EXO's Suho hasn't been the pushed member either
SM tends to look at personality when picking leader, not fanbase or center potential.

I doubt that if they are going to make another chinese unit, that they would have them also promote in Korea, they wouldn't want 2 groups overlapping like that. They aren't just going to debut ANOTHER WayV, just with different members and name.

Overall I feel like Chenle just has a much more leader personality, In a recent interview Jisung talked about how he relies on Chenle a lot and gets a lot of advice from him! I know they are like besties, but that really makes me think that Chenle COULD be a leader.

Overall the ChenJi relationship has shown me Chenle as a leader a lot. Yeah Jisung is the more pushed out of the 2, but in the pair itself, Chenle is the more loud one who tends to lead.
