There's a bit of editing. But then there's that!!! They all look like completely different people.

of course it is normal for them to look better in official photos than casually without all the make up and lightning, but here it's undeniable that they went too far with the editing. i just hope the netizens aren't too judgmental towards the contestants themselves because it's not their fault.

Besides this being their first reveal, they'll probably start looking better as the show goes on. That's what Produce does too, the trainees look like shit when they first enter and by the end they are "transformed", mostly by makeup, into a true idol or whatever. Tho yes, there was def a lot of editing in thos pics...Especially that one guys cheeks are ginormous and he doesn't have them at all in the picture.

But really all their visuals can very easily be improved. They seem functionally bare faced rn, and the base is there. Eyeshadow, blush, contact lenses, then they can get that dolled up idol look and I can be happy. Jungwon and maybe Geonu are especially promising. They won’t be visual god level but it’s a start
