JYP announces “NiZiU”, their finalized lineup for new girl group

Nizi Project has reached its concluding episode and announce the group name will be “NiZiU”. The girl group will have a 9 member lineup

The lineup is as follows:

1. Yamaguchi Mako​
2. Oe Riku​
3. Yokoi Rima​
4. Hanabishi Rio​
5. Katsumura Maya​
6. Suzuno Mihii​
7. Oguo Mayuka​
8. Arai Ayaka​
9. Hillman Nina​

Leaving the runner ups to be Ahn Yuna, Inoue Akari, & Ikematsu Riria.

The girls will debut on June 30th with the digital album, "Makes You Happy" which will be released in both Japan and South Korea!​

Well, Yuna is a JYP trainee since before the show started and is half Korean so they will probably keep her for the next Korean group. The other two will most likely be dropped or sent to other companies.

I haven't watched the last two episodes yet but the narrative this whole season has kinda been heading in this direction plus JYP always likes to use these shows to set up more than one group. I think he wants to make Yuna like the Somi of this show...

Yeah, they're a full Japanese group but will promote internationally too. A few of the girls have trained in Korea for years, like Sana so they speak fluent Korean plus they have two English speakers too!
