Do you wish that K-pop did more messing about dancing instead of an actual choreography all the time? (1 Viewer)

Or are you happy for groups to do choreo in every song they do?
I ask this because in Dreamcatcher's Mayday, they are just dancing and it seems like they are having a lot of fun.


What do you think? Should more groups and soloists do a freestyle type of dance in some of their songs/MVs?

that video was very fun to watch! i never paid that much attention to choreographies in kpop anyway so i wouldn't mind if more groups performed the way dreamcatcher did in that video, especially since it looks like it doesn't take the focus away from singing which happens with many songs which have more advanced choreographies.

Yes, this is true! Not only that but it also shows more of their personalities imo.
I wouldn't want it for all MV's, however, I think it should happen in more MV's than it is right now.

I guess a song should have a choreography, but certainly every now and then it would be nice if they just had fun with their song. Like how idols dance during encores. They let loose, have fun and mess around with each other.

It would be so nice to see them relax on stage like that more often, as not every performance needs to be so formal all the time. It could do the idols some good too, knowing that they can have a laugh.

Concert videos are more for the fandom at concerts, but I feel it would be cool if kpop made more MV's like Mayday.

Choreos can be fun, but I want ot see unbridled choas it's fun. And as someone said you can see someones personality better.
