I wasn’t going to comment of this thread, just leave a like because I think that Lisa is a good performer but not the best of her generation. I actually think that Rosé is better than her in her own group for example but I ended up commenting because some comments here don’t indicate a will to discuss but to shade. Nasty comments about Lisa’s face are shady.

We definitely aren’t on the same forums then because on the forums where I am every praise adressed to Lisa provok a meltdown.

Lisa's a great dancer but labelling her as "one of the best performer in kpop" is an overstatement

I have seen many threads where people don't shade her. OP made a mistake by labelling it as a discussion instead of an appreciation. If it were the latter, people with a different opinion would've stayed away. Like I said: discussion means that other users can share their opinion. The users shared those and said they think she's good but not the best.

It all depends on how users formulate the thread. Saying "Lisa is the best and your faves are all stupid" like some I've seen many Lisa stans do in my years of being on forums will of course make users mad. I've also seen many Lisa fans attack people when they say otherwise in a discussion thread. Of course shading someone's fave to bring up yours riles up people.

like I said, the mistake happened with the prefixes. If you look at appreciation threads, you see only praise. There are a lot of mistakes happening with prefixes. idk if it was by mistake or to get more replies.

I always title my threads as discussion because I think every thread can be a discussion. tbh I don't even really look at prefixes, I only put discussion because it's easier I guess. idc if people disagree on whether or not Lisa is the best performer or not in this thread specifically.

I do have to agree with @Hally though, I do feel like whenever Lisa is praised there's always people that are like "well she's not the best". on this thread idc if people disagree but in the kpop community as a whole it feels like you cant praise Lisa for her skills without someone posting about their non needed opinion about how "oH ThErEs sOmeOnE BeTtER"

I personally think Taemin is the best performer overall. He just knows his body perfectly and has improved so much vocally too.

For females I def see Lisa quite ahead but I would say the Mamamoo girls are just on a leque of their own
