tbh I sometimes feel the same, but maybe bcuz i started being active on forums earlier, I had less of a filter so I seemed a lot more talkative, and so I guess I now feel like I have to be talkative since that’s what I’m usually like here

but I feel you about the part with words; there’s some ideas that are so hard to out into words that you just- don’t say anything. That or spam emojis

I'm not pessimistic irl but well very much a loner and like being by myself. Online I'm always very high energy and active/friendly so sometimes it's exhausting.

yeah I feel like my energy level online has somewhat toned down a bit,, i can barely make it through a regular school day without feeling exhausted from social interaction irl

Yeah and I've ended up ghosting people too lol, and I never have a good explanation for it
I just get tired and need enough solo time to recharge

I think my record is 10 months online??? and 2 months online for irl people
Coming back is always an experience since,, well saying “sorry I got too tired and emotionally drained for a couple months” doesn’t seem like a great idea


quarantine’s been a blessing for me tbh bcuz now I get so much more time to recharge
