I just got back on Facebook for first time in a long time. I've never added friends that much. But I just got bored and started sending friend requests to every Korean woman I saw being listed as "someone you may know".

But then after the fifth request sent I got a message saying "Do you know this person? Only send friend requests to people you know personally".

Has that always been a thing? I thought Facebook was supposed to be a means to meet new people online as well as people you already know.

I think its always been there. Most likely it's for the kids/young teens on there where they won't be liable if they talk to people who want to kidnap them and/or old people that will friend scammers

Facebook is rubbish. Best thing I ever done was deleted my account.
Too many scammers and annoying people on there.
