i agree. It’s like an hybrid between a psychedelic vibe and Lovelyz usual dreamy concept but in a dark version.

I prefer Memories and Worry Dolls in the album.

They are going for a more mature sound since 2017 but very gradually. I think that they don’t want to rub their fanbase the wrong way. I personally prefer that they don’t change their identity too much even if I understand yours thoughts. The teasers were misleading.

I didn't even watch the teasers. I think they won't be able to move onto more mature concepts just because I think the members as a whole have a hard time stepping out of the cute/innocent bubble that they've been in-as demonstrated by their stint on Queendom. Unless the company and the members who can pull this style off start helping the other members, I think they'll have a hard time transitioning because this reminds me of their first couple of performances on Queendom. You can see the intention, but it wasn't executed. The only thing more mature is the dance and music video and outfits.

But the sound is still pretty soft, like their usual stuff.

FINALLY, I have listened to the album, lol.
So far, Obliviate is my favorite with Never, Secret & Worry Dolls being the follow-ups. And You're right, Memories is very pleasing.
