Appreciation Mina Appreciation + I Listened to AOA's Entire Discography... (1 Viewer)

[Wingfrost]

Before you read further into this thread, this thread's main subject I would like to keep on Mina and AOA’s music only. I don’t want this to stray into a hate filled thread, yes the situation is awful, the person who caused Mina pain for years did something awful and in no way am I saying what she did was alright. It was and still is not alright. Bullying is something that I’ve been through and that I’m sure many here have experienced as well, it is not something to be brushed to the side. However, I would like to keep this positive and full of love and appreciation for Mina. Encouraging words, your favorite videos of her, pictures, gifs, what you love about her, etc… Obviously I can’t stop you from speaking your mind just please try to keep this thread positive.

So with that out of the way if you would like to see my thoughts and ratings on AOA’s music just

Like my other ‘I Listened to _______’ threads, I’ve listened and rated all of AOA’s songs (Japanese releases included), however I did leave out OST’s and Solo projects as I wanted to focus just on the group. I’m also 99% sure that I didn’t listen to all of their songs, I couldn’t find some tracks and just decided to leave some out after searching with nothing coming up so forgive me for that. I also didn’t do a review of any of their albums nor did I include a Likes and Dislikes section, however I will still say my overall thoughts at the end.

Final Thoughts
Going into their discography I expected it to sound similar to their titles, however they had a lot of ballads and slower songs which I wasn’t anticipating. I chose to listen to AOA this time because I wanted to listen to a girl group that mainly had upbeat and catchy songs so I think that affected my experience just because I was expecting something else. They do still have some more upbeat b-sides though. Their discography isn’t my favorite and I would say that I prefer their more recent songs to their earlier tracks. It would have been really interesting to see how AOA Black would have grown as well, it added something unique to AOA. My favorite songs are Come See Me, Oh Boy, Like a Cat, Heart Attack and Good Luck.

The disrespect to "Elvis". That score needs help.

Despite what's happened to AOA legacy recently I will forever stand by the claim they have the best girl group singles ever. I struggle everyday trying to decide between SNSD Genie and AOA Heart Attack as the best comeback in history. I need to go back and listen to their albums cause it's been a while.

Edit: And oh yeah Mina. Top 5 most adorable idol ever.

From what I can see it was really just Runway album and AOA Cream you missed along with a few intros however my catalogue threads might help you in the future which I made 2nd, 3rd and 4th gen ones for female artists so far which I do need to update somewhat but it's got most things

Oooh thanks for this

[lexus]

I'm so glad you gave their music a chance even though you didn't care for it. Thank you for appreciating Mina as well 💙

[AmysTeri]

i wish I could rate on a numerical system. I’m like, yes, no, maybe and replay value?

you are much kinder to Angels’ Story than I was - they all got no’s xD

going through, I have a lot of “yes’s” but I still have not done the personal replay value. Even so, I too prefer their newer releases to the older songs.

thanks for sharing!

[yeji]

glad you gave them an honest chance
