How I hope to boost artist thread activity :) (1 Viewer)

I've thought of a way to try to get a bit more activity in the artist threads I'm OP for.

On the first day of each month I'll make a post in the artist thread with the fandom group tag. I figured (seeing as I'm guilty of it too), that as missing just one notification in a watched artist thread means we miss out on all the following notifications, and as such I personally haven't visited some threads in a while. Regardless of how easily I could just go back to said thread, I don't :(.

So, maybe the guaranteed monthly notification (of me using the fandom user tag in the artist thread) will encourage/boost interest and interaction as users might see all the content they've missed that has been posted within the month and discuss it etc. (This is mostly for those that don't "watch" the artist thread and see all new content or have lost the notification from the thread, which can happen).

Obviously, I hope other users in said artist threads find the free time to also post content in them, even if it's just a new social media update from one of the members etc. However, if you are someone that only likes making threads, be sure to use the fandom user tags in the threads you make as it's as easy as tagging just one user :D.

Seems like a number of artist threads are low on activity, for whatever reason. Let's help change that! So if any other artist thread OP likes this idea, I hope you do it with your own threads too :).

Threads I'm OP for: Apink, Dreamcatcher, EVERGLOW, (G)I-DLE, IU.

If anyone else has any ideas to help boost activity, let us know.

I'll tag you guys for this as if some of you are OP's yourself, you might find this idea useful.

I would also like you all to know that this is what I'm planning to do for the artist threads you are part of.

Hopefully you are relieved to know that you won't miss out on content posted in said threads with your guaranteed monthly notification from me.

I think posts that are more than just a repost of a tweet or insta post help a lot as well.
If you post smth to start up a discussion people are more likely to reply to you.

Indeed. I plan to comment on all social media posts I upload from now on, pointing out certain things about it. And for videos I'll mark certain time points that are of interest and others might like, such as funny moments etc. Should be enough to make people reply/interact with :D.

I've been doing that in the WayV thread with reasonable sucess. It doesn't always end up in like a multiple page discussion, but oftentimes I can get a reply or two out of it.

I figured I need to stop lurking so much and be more active myself.

KS users are literally the most chill and friendly people on the internet, and such an environment like this is VERY rare. This is the only forum I use and K-pop is one of my outlets for when I'm feeling down (along with films/TV shows, Twitch and video games).

So I thought it would be nice to encourage more activity in the place I come to everyday so we can all get more fun and enjoy more content from our faves lol.

I haven't seen/heard much from him in a long while, so I guess he's either on a long hiatus or is retired?
