I never thought about this but given that SME has been buying small companies lately, is not a crazy idea at all. I know BBC itself is hold by a big ass corporation and not necessarily has much to do with its parent company Polaris. Everything is possible...

Well, they do have a point but SMNGG has been on the works for years and I don't think LSM investing in LOONA is going to change those plans, they're not like YGE.

About RV, I agree they could have better promos but aside from that I think they're doing fine. There's not much left to do with Wendy still recovering, Irene and Seulgi slayed, Joy and Yeri are working on their own things. They had the hell of a year in 2019 with three comebacks... I think they deserve to rest for a while.

It's just that a lot of the initial rumours about SM's new girl group about a year ago, sounded like they were gonna have a very similar concept to LOONA (12 members, 4 units). Now all of a sudden LSM is actually working with the real LOONA and the reports coming from SM have changed to only a 4 member group... It's almost as if LSM is doing his original plan with LOONA and someone else at SM is making a totally different group!

I just want Loona no matter what. BBC has been good to the girls and I doubt they would give control to their groups to anyone. That doesn’t mean tho that a partnership could happen which seems very likely between BBC and SM since the one and only LSM seems invested in our girls

iirc BBC also still has billions of debts? i'm pretty sure SM could easily pay that off if they wanted Loona to succeed when acquiring them

I agree.

The thing is, LOONA already sounds like an SM group. They have clean vocals and they have a lot (and I mean A LOT) of composers in common with SM groups: MonoTree, Caesar & Loui, Daniel “Obi” Klein, Charli Taft, Andreas Oberg, Ylva Dimberg, etc.

I know lmao, most people haven't realized that it's not SM Ent investing in Loona by any means, but LSM personally

I think it's a common mistake among kpop fans nowadays, the same happens with JYPE and YGE. Although, I dare to say JYP and the Yang brothers have more influence inside their former companies that LMS has in SME rn, esp. YHS which still holds most of YGE's, if I'm not mistaken.
