Just saw this in my reccs and ig I'll just share it



I'm glad they did it but I hope they are gonna learn about different cultures as well, not just black culture. It's a good starting point, but should definitely be more expanded on.

I like that she really broke it down for them. If this is what needs to be done for people to get it, then frickin teach it like this. They can definitely talk about other cultures too, but black culture is a great start. This also shows that those that "didn't knooooww!!! 😭😭😭" can definitely be taught; they don't have to be out here just sitting around, not knowing.

And yeah, teach the stylists too.

cause dreads come from so many heritages not just black
and i always fall into if you want it to be more accepted surely you would want people to wear it
just correctly and respectfully
telling people they cant wear them isnt going help it being accepted surely
like winwin when he wore them..
he cute and wasnt trying come across as a "tough" etc
i thought how winwin went about it was the best
still showing his adorable side didnt put on act just cause he had the hair

I still don't get it-as the person above me stated dreads aren't just a specific culture/race hairstyle. Also, there is a difference between mocking and appreciation as they said so I still don't fully get the point but kudos to them and hopefully, they won't get death threats and other shit for their hair now????

They will do it just not public as wont look good
as makes it seem like the trainees were racist to begin with

there many ways this can be twisted badly
so safer to do it privately
at the end of the day this is just a publicity thing to look good for foreigners why would Koreans care for this
small company English subs very rare..
even in big companies it sometimes rare

A style coordinator not knowing the minimum of world culture is one of those things that almost makes me cry...

These people limit their potential and even make it bad for the idols in the processs

Companies that give jobs to those aren't that better

I think that it's good that the trainees are getting to know about the cultures in hairstyles, but the style coordinators and the company should be more focused regarding these things.

It's cool and all that a company is doing it but realistically change starts from the top and this is something that really won't see any benefits other than not stepping on toes but groups that have done that are still doing fine
