Fair Line Distribution ≠ Equal Line Distribution (2 Viewers)

I think a lot of people are confusing this.
A lot of people want an equal line distribution instead of a fair line distribution.

Imo an equal line distribution would be say, all of the Seventeen members have 15 seconds.
A Fair line distribution is giving the main vocalist a lot more than the sub vocalist, but the sub vocalist still having a "good" amount of lines.
Now that good variable can obviously change depending on how large the group is, how many other vocalists (and especially main ones) there are.

A perfect example for a fair line distribution is EVERGLOW's La Di Da.
EVERGLOW was always bashed for their line distribution because most of the time it was 80% Mia and the rest distributed between the other 5,
but La Di Da did such a 180 with this.
Obviously Mia still has the most lines, but Sihyeon is a close 2nd.
Yiren and Aisha as the best vocalists after Mia & Sihyeon got basically the same amount.
Onda obviously being the weakest vocalist (not bad!) got less than them but still about 17 seconds which is a HUGE improvement.
And E:U obviously either having luck or not with how many rap parts there can be in a vocal focused song.

~50 seconds for Mia, ~17 for Onda, people were still complaining but this song is what fair distribution looks like.
Taking into account how trained their vocals are, how stable they are etc. just plays an extremely important part.

There are only a few groups who can allow themselves to have an equal line distribution because all of the members are amazing in those categories.
MAMAMOO, A.C.E, DAY6, KARD, MCND, ITZY, Seventeen
are just a few groups who have already proven, and who I can imagine, having equal line distribution.

I also feel like with Everglow, some of Mia's parts are gonna be split with Yena when she eventually joins the group so they're not gonna be as uneven in the future as the are now...

Onda is a better singer than Yiren tbh but I get why Yiren gets more lines, she's the visual/center and more popular, and they mostly only have her repeat short catchphrases/hooks or something similar. Onda atleast got real lines this time round so I was happy.
