5. I don't need nor want ENG. version of songs. Is it great and thoughtful? Yes. But I listen to Kpop for a reason. I really love lyrics and when they take Korean and change it to English a lot of the lyrics are kind of...really bad and as a result ruin the song for me. I'd prefer for them to just stick to the original. I love vocals and that is one of my main things but lyrics are really big for me as well so yeah....

This song kind of proved my point...the lyrics are so bad compared to the Korean version when translated. The song is very meaningful either way don't get me wrong. But the Korean version is more poetic and hard hitting when you read the English translation I mean compare:

The Korean ones seem way more genuine and hard-hitting, while the English one just seems like very simple poetry. Is the song bad in either one? No but I much prefer listening to the Korean version because it seems more genuine and stronger. As someone who has had issues with depression...I don't know the second one speaks to me a bit more. Is the first one awful? No. Just not better than the Korean one for me.
