To summarize everything for the day, Xiao Zhan absolutely deserves to be called an Idol. He's the kind of person everyone should idolize. He deserves the world but the world has proven time and time again that it doesn't deserve him

Fyi, Chinese netizens and Entertainment industry, EVERYONE is batshit crazy. I say this because of what happened to poor Xiao Zhan in the beginning of the year. Xiao Zhan has changed so much these days and I'm glad he did. Sadly,he's become reclusive now. But, he's also become strategic by making a comeback on CCTV channel and is starring in a production funded by their govt. So that insiders of the industry and paid anti-fans cannot make any negative publicity. I really hope things become better for him and that we'll get to see his works more often.

unfortunately, the program he was in got a lot of bad publicity because of how they represented women in the show. So luckily he didn't get any flack but being in it wasn't that helpful....

I'm just mad at the fans but I also don't think its entirely their fault. I think the Chinese government had the plan to ban AO3 not matter what but this was a chance to do that and knock down Xiao Zhan's popularity. He was getting really popular in China and World Wide and they probably didn't like that (pretty much getting the same treatment as Fan BingBing).

I hope he can comeback soon.

Yea. I felt so bad for him. He's targeted for reasons beyond him and that's just so unfair. People saw he was the fastest rising Star, who was practically an outsider a few years ago and had risen to exponential fame through just one drama and did everything they could to bring him down.
I just hope he comes back stronger and better than ever with the best people surrounding him.

I´m so happy! He is a singer, an actor, a model and a graphic designer. I prefer him as an actor more than a singer, though he does have a very beautiful voice that is suitable for ballads!
I´d recommend The Untamed as it is really a wonderful show with a lot of character development and it is very beautifully shot.
But you can also see him in the Jade Dynasty, Oh My Emperor! (it is such a lovely show as well) and Joy of Life.
