I'm wondering if anyone here is learning Korean as well.

How and how long have you been learning and what's your experience like?

I've been doing it on and off with an emphasis on the off for a while, 2 years or so. I haven't gotten far though since I haven't been consistently doing it, but I started a study group in a discord server I'm in.

i would LOVE to learn korean
but in the past when i did research i just could not find a good free or cheap way to do it

i really prefer to get taught by someone korean , i mean if only like lisa or jennie from blackpink could teach me
or tiffany from girls generation
they speak english and korean , they would be perfect teachers

there is a school nearby who teaches it but it is so difficult to understand their website and i think they only teach asian people


i badly want to learn though, i hope i will find a way in the future
i really like the sound of the language, big reason why i fell in love with kpop and i why i like to watch kdrama too

I used to. I don't really have time to learn it anymore, but I GENUINELY think K-Pop helps with remembering certain phrases. Obviously you can't learn the whole language with K-Pop, but when I've learned certain words and phrases, hearing them in songs helps me remember.
