Like the title says, did you ever have a job that you anticipated to be pretty easy but it ended up being more difficult than you thought it would be?

I’ve helped volunteer before at a fireworks tent and was asked to take over at the register for a few minutes... It’s terrifying, I kept messing up and felt so awkward around the customers.
So I can relate

I have been tutoring children for about 3 years now and it was fine until I started tutoring three 7 year old girls at once... I didn't think it would be an issue since I have had group tutoring sessions with younger kids before but it's a whole different story when the kids are related. The girls were really sweet and did listen to me most of the time, but they fought over everything. They also kept competing with each other and it was torture lol. I literally went home with a migraine all the time after their sessions.

Ah sibling rivalry always makes things interesting

Our "tutoring" sessions literally just consisted of me watching over them while they finished off their homework and even though it was a 3 page worksheet and they all had the same work to do, 2 hours wasn't enough to finish it. I had to bribe them with reading them a book for them to actually work through it. But then even in that case, they fought over which book they wanted me to read to them

That reminds me of the time I used to babysit, it was two brothers who would argue over the weirdest things and then 5 seconds later they’re cool as can be after pretty much having a shouting match across the house. H-how? Maybe I did the same things with my siblings when I was younger and don’t remember but now as an adult whenever I hear kids argue I’m just like-
