I was *not* expecting this concept tbh

kfans were saying gp friendly hiphop and then this drops

[OnlyCalB]

Wow!

So stunning! This could be one EPIC debut!

there is gp friendly hip hop?

I'm glad we're getting more of a darker/mature concept rather than pure girl crush since there are enough GG that do that already, hopefully the full thing won't disappoint me.

[maruberry]

I LOVE how they actually depict the Black Mamba as a woman!
THIS IS LEGENDARY, AMAZING, REVOLUTIONARY AND SO MUCH MORE!

Also... We better get teasers like this for the other members as well, unlike the My Karina video that only Karina had....

[maruberry]

AGHHHH THIS IS SO GOOD I CANNOT GET OVER IT

[maruberry]

THIS IS WHAT I WANTED!
THIS!!!!

A BIT HORROR AND MYSTICAL!!! THIS!!!
I NEEDED THIS, I WANTED THIS FUCK YES

[maruberry]

also jang yoon ju???

I love the choice to represent the Black Mamba, she looks SO dangerous and cool and just EVERYTHING!
Those black hands with those claws look LETHAL!

[maruberry]

It almost looks as if The Black Mamba is some kind of a queen and Karina is the princess!
or maybe The Black Mamba is corrupting her and making her like her???

OR maybe the Black Mamba is some kind of a virus infecting her and it's just personified!
Maybe like a poison or smth

I AM SO INTO THIS FUCK YES I CANNOT COPE

[uhgr8]

ooHHHHHHH I love this omggg

[AmysTeri]

YOOOOO

I've been trying to keep my expectations low, but THEY REALLY GONNA PULL ME IN LIKE THIS HUH

[cosmic_gayls]

weki meki i think aespa is coming for your spot

[QueenB]

the plot twist that this teaser is....

[Ashla_K]

This may come off as nit picking but the idea of including a model on the teaser was not very good. It's distracting, not to mention there's no way someone would look better than a professional model in a picture.

add on the fact that yoonju is hella experienced too...
I'm assuming she's the villain in the lore that SM is building up for aespa though??

It seems like that which makes me even more confused about their concept.

basically what I'm getting at is that there are two worlds (kinda like exo lmao): normal world and ae world
synk (I think) is the system that allows the members and the ae members to connect
there is, however, some villain who wants to sever that connection???

their teasers have a lot of weird text ("she knows everything here", "dear 145_rose", "who cares") in the bg too for some odd reason
