i think its thanks to the internet and how big kpop has become. cause when fx and red velvet kpop wasnt as big but now it is. 4th generation is going to be the best generation to debut in tbh

That definitely has something to do with it, I agree. I guess millions of views and charting on international charts is the new flop these days...
Still, I can't believe how well they're doing. I mean to put into context, RV's Psycho was their most viewed MV in 24 hours with 10.7M views but Aespa is already passed 13M... Obviously their success at the moment isn't comparable to RV, but I'm so impressed with how well they're doing in all aspects. SM isn't even usually this strong on YouTube. But their current success is also worrying. They're going to have to kill their next comeback because the hype is really high right now. Their next release will pretty much determine their future in my opinion. And the haters are literally on their tip toes looking for every opportunity to hate on them. Unrelated but this is also the most hate I have seen for any K-POP group since becoming a fan. It's unreal but I guess they're also contributing to Aespa's current success.

Wow I'm jealous. The MV comments, Pann translations, Twitter, IG, Naver, Melon... literally everywhere I look I find hate. Even the other forums I have checked seem to had some sort of agenda against them. Every second thread is a hate thread.

Same. Even Im surprised...but not surprised at the same time. Aespa were anticipated for a long time, by SM stans and kpop fans. But 20 million in 24 hours?
Never thought that an SM group of all things would acheive this.
