the whole flora thing makes me so so mad ok maybe it's because she was my fav because netflix made it so clear that they knew what they were doing
during casting, they said they were looking for a flora, and the actress' slate thing also clearly said she was playing flora
and now they're trying to get away with it by changing flora's name to terra and pretending they're not the same character

They've white washed characters and seemed to have sucked the life out of the original cartoon. I don't understand Netflix's obsession with everything being "edgier" like you can have a dramatic show without its color pallet being mud and adding darker elements. Its been a long time since I watched the show but i'm pretty sure it did a fine job of being bright and cheerful while also getting into darker topics.

Makes me terrified for the avatar adaptation

atla did a fine job delving into heavier topics while being really cheery and colorful
even pokemon s&m did that fine

i am all in for the aisha to be instant part of the group even though that is not how it went down in the original
i hate the fact no techna and flora.... and they replaced flora and techna with a ''curvy'' girl so people can relate more probably

the winx club owner must been given a lot of money from netflix for him to approve this shit
