k so i joined like 2 days ago and ive noticed this forum is a little slow feeling. Like theres not a bunch of people online at a time and the people that are online at the same time are usually the same people (not that its bad or anything). Just something ive noticed

(also can someone pls spam me some posts to answer so i can complete the daily quest and get a card)

Yes this forum is soooo quiet. Especially compared to AKP where there are posts every few minutes.

Are you serious? :D Am I not getting the joke? People are pretty active on here. I just think some are finishing finals and it is till early in the morning for others, but this forum is not quiet at all? I would say if so it depends on how good you are at socialising?

Your task is also to create three threads, so if you choose your topics wisely ,people will join in and you´ll get your 20 posts in no time as you might start a good conversation.

Well it is a small forum, and pretty new at that compared to AKP which is massive and always has new people joining in to replace the ones who've left so

This forum is actually pretty active considering it's new-ish and for the amount of members it has. It's active community is here a lot and to be honest, activity has been boosted a lot due to cards. About 30 threads are made each day around the start of midnight KST lmao. So loads of threads you can find to interact with each day.

You kinda have to make threads on trendy topics to get a lot of play here.

Or be a personality with discussion threads.

There's not as much traffic as bigger sites so it's harder to find tons of people interested if you post more obscure or niche topics.

But I still love it here.

Lots of my friends are here and it's got lot of cool features and a great team.

I split my time between here and Allkpop.

along with what everyone else has already said, I also feel like the community here is a bit older than some other forums? So we've all got work and its holiday so depending on ppls field that could be peak season, and then a lot of other people have finals. And then everyone's in different time zones, and it it a smaller community etc etc.
but I'd say less ppl = less conflict and its easier to make friends, so win win lol

You’ve got to consider that this a smaller forum than akp. Akp has been around for years whereas KPS is only two years old

Search function is your friend, jon oppar. N looking for recent threads with replies can tell you if the topics on here are interesting to you to want to reply too.

i don't think you have said anything that could of possibly upset anyone in here but maybe that's just me

but i do find it slightly funny that so many people online, incl yourself, i have met so far in all these years
say and consider a forum ''dead'' if the activity is not constantly going on 24/7

forums like reddit may be active 24/7 because i believe it is the biggest one EVER but you can't compare that place with regular forums like this one

it is only logical a regular forum is not active 24/7 because of different timezones, people work, school, sleep etc
and it is funny but also very sad in a way that some people so quickly are to judge a forum might be dead just because they do not see extreme activity sometimes when they are online

anyways, all i'm trying to say is, give forums like this a chance ... be active for couple weeks and see if you like the people or not
because at the end of the day, activity is nice and all but it should come down to the actual people and not just the activity
a forum could be active A LOT of the hours during a day but what if they all shitty rude ass people?

it really depends, when something big in kpop happens this forum is pretty active. I can see where you're coming from, at times the forum can be kinda slow or dead for days, and other times it can be very active, you just have to stick around long enough for it to happen.

not to mention, if you make threads that are based more around discussion or controversial topics you'll probably get more replies than if it were just another appreciation thread about how your fave is the prettiest, we get a lot of those. tbh for me, I only really click on threads that have a prompt bc there's more likely to be an actual discussion than if it were just an appreciation thread and I went on there to say "omg your fave is so pretty haha".
