just wondering who around KS is using an adblock extension in chrome or whatever browser you use
a lot of websites but even some forums have got them ads going on sometimes
sometimes ads they put in themselves to earn money on their forum, like i saw on another kpop forum recently and sometimes ads created by their host websites which does not earn the forum money at all (as some forum owners create their place using free hosting websites instead of paying for xenforo or ipb or whatever because maybe they poor? though thank god for free ones like mybb etc)

it kinda baffles me that i heard from some others they do not use it and do not mind them ads at all
there i thought most people hated to see ads on forums and websites

Yes, I'm using Safari with 1Blocker. Installing an ad blocker is one of the first things I do when I set up a new computer Ads are becoming very invasive these days so I can't imaging browsing the internet without an ad blocker.

I use them in my browser mostly for YouTube coz those ads get real annoying.
I almost forget I have an Adblock installed until I try watching videos on YouTube on my phone and all the ads creep back in

those who do have adblock are not doing that per se
because a lot of ads online, anywhere, could also revolve around scams and malware
so at the end of the day it is mainly about protecting yourselves as well

I do on desktop. On mobile I don't have one currently installed. Did but I uninstalled it awhile back and haven't reinstalled one yet.

Yes! I´m using Opera as my browser and I have an AddBlocker and Privacy Badger :D. No one is gonna read my kpop opinions :D.

I use an ad blocker; but I have it deactivated on this forum. I definitely use it on youtube, since that platform has made their ad system as annoying as possible.
