I noticed that these days putting ourselves down and saying our worst qualities seems to be popular around here so I just wanted to make a thread that encourages some self-love.

So write down something you love about yourself and something you're proud of about yourself. It could be absolutely anything. I'm sure everyone has something about themselves that makes them happy. If don't want to write down something you love about yourself, then you could even post happy memories. You could even post in here whenever you get a good (or better) grade on a test. Just ANYTHING that makes YOU happy.

I'll start: I'm proud of my ability to always look at the positive side of things. So no matter how bad something is, I'll always look at it from the bright side. And I think I have managed to come so far in life because of it. I'm always just thinking of the positive side of any negative events and that just helps me deal with everything and anything without feeling discouraged or (too) upset.

If you're looks are something you're proud of or something that makes you happy, then it counts. This thread is for self love and finding yourself good looking counts in that. ☺

Today one of the girls I teach told me that she used to hate maths because she didn’t understand it but now she likes it because she has a good teacher (me). She made me so happy and I felt proud. Kids are absolutely adorable. They’re like little happy pills. 😍

Hmm I'm sick, so I went to the see a doctor despite my anxiety... I hope me taking care of my health will turn out to be a good thing :) (I guess this counts as something positive lol?)

I'm proud of myself for staying true to who I am no matter what has happened over the past few years
When I become a teacher/counsellor, I imagine I'll make little kids happy and help them enjoy their school life. I'll be able to assist them well with any problems they have too, so I think I'll grow to be the good person I always wanted to be, even if I'm not that right now
I try so hard to be happy for myself each day and I see the good in the smallest things around me
I have a pretty smile and nice eyes
