Out of that large list, only about 15 are still active. Not sure how many of those are interested in Japanese content though. Some of them might not be following DC's Japanese social media.

Well, about the song; I think this is just the opening to the anime, not the full song. I run into it by chance while reviewing my new releases on spotify. I then looked for it on youtube. The way all this about featuring one of their songs on an anime is consistent with how I have seen things are done in Japan.
