Will you support and accompany your parents when you are older and got your own busy life going on with maybe kids , partner, busy carreer or do you not care for that all?
are your parents going to be alone? they got each other so why should you visit them every week? ain't nobody got time for that?

but what if one of your parents suddenly has passed away
and your mom or dad is all alone now
would you visit them more then?

i was wondering about this earlier today and posting it here because i think its a global thing for years now
where elderly people been dying cause of loneliness
(or is it between my ears and this is not a real thing? i hardly read the papers nowadays lol)

Please visit your parents, people... taking even just a small amount of time in your busy life will not hurt you. And give phone calls/video calls too at the very least.

nursing homes are a miserable place to be, depression runs rampant. they all just want someone to talk to and most of the time staff are too understaffed to give that to them.

i watch people die alone and miserable all the time. I would wish it on no one.

I’ve always promised my mom that I would never let her feel like she’s my last priority. She’s been with me for too many ups and downs for me to not be there for her when she gets older.

Yeah I'm an only child and although I disagree on a lot of things with my parents, they've cared for me so much and done a lot, I could never leave them alone.
They're both already retired and I work in another state entirely, I'm trying to get a job and move back to some place closer so I can take better care of them.

My sister, and my cousins I suppose, but they're all 10+ years older than me haha

I mean it's hit or miss. I have good days with them but I have really really bad days with them too.
