Everything they have said before about BNM Boys made me think that it would be the 4 known members that would be debuting, but this latest update has me a little less sure of that.

For those of you who haven't been a victim of my promotion yet, the 4 confirmed members and Daehwi and Woojin of Wanna One and Donghyun and Youngmin of MxM.



@Darkyoda you wanted a stronger main vocal, which might end up happening, and @Peach you wanted Kanto, which is also not out of the question anymore.

Im curious if this will happen and how it would affect the group, the other 4 have quite a bit of predebut popularity already so Im worried about them overshadowing the others if they do get added, but on the other hand I agree that the group might end up better if they have at least one power vocal, which right now they're lacking.

Thoughts?

A couple of ex-YG trainees have been taking vocal lessons with the Brand New Music vocal trainer and are rumoured to be trainees under the company.

Wow, I don't think BNM Boys should have 10 members. I feel like the 6 other members would just be a blur of faces next to the original 4.

1–2 more members to the original 4 (like a stronger vocal) would have been better.

Neither of them seem to be particularly exceptional vocalists from these short clips, though Jeon Woongs voice is very pleasant and these are short and old clips.

I also just found out that Jeon Woong was a backup dancer for MxM, so its definitely possible that he could debut in their new group.

So far I've found info on 4 current potential members along with OT4, but not too much is known about them other than Myunghoon and they have a history of trainees leaving so it very possibly might be less than 8. I would be very surprised if there are any other trainees, so I think the most there could reasonably be is 8.

Also from what I've seen the other potential members do have predebut popularity as well, the other trainees with the exception of one were on either MixNine or YG Treasure Box so even if they have a few more they might not get overshadowed too much.

I usually feel the same way but there are a couple of groups with an even number of members who don't seem to have that issue like (G)I-DLE and Weki Meki. I actually really like Weki Meki's even number because all of their choreography is always so symmetrical!

Hoping for Kanto to be in this just cause he was my #1 pick in The Unit. He's 4 years older than Donghyun though so IDK if they're gonna do that.
