I read that they cost ALOT, like 1 Million for one Hashflag, and I doubt Beat would have that much money to spent on something so seemingly insignificant?

Hashflags cost nowhere near that much. The one million price was thrown around years ago when they first came out. Now they're commonplace, but everywhere has just stuck with the $1 million price tag because no one really knows how much they cost, aside those who end up getting them.

Oooh i see, makes sense that they'd start to cost less the more they are used for "basic" hashtags instead of something like a big event similar to the Olympics or stuff^^
