I personally think for me it is totally true. Like I need to be in a specific head space to listen to certain Lana songs and then there are days I gravitate so much to hard hitting music just because I have too much energy.​

Sometimes I need to be in a certain mood to listen to ballads or chill songs etc.

But sometimes I listen to music to change my mood if I'm feeling low or something. So I use music to lift my mood.
