NCT members i worry for (1 Viewer)

Excluding winwin as even though sm hates him he is a visual and will be fine once he leaves..

members I'm worried for when new members join



Johnny - He isn't top 5 of anything rap/dance is his main category's and he isn't in either top 5
So his main thing is spokesman for the west
as that his whole gag he has English YouTube videos

So lets say 3 Visual American members debut
1 being 6ft
1 having big personality = haechan/lucas/jaemin level
1 being rap/dancer

and you telling me sm wont drop Johnny for nct western spokesman


Jisung - He wont be maknae forever
his whole thing is.... he is the maknae
once he hasn't got that he is just the dancer
what isn't the worst
but im worried all his solo promo will just end
chenji this and that will prob end once new babies join

Yuta - If he isn't in the nct japan unit
any nct u work what needs 1 Japanese vocalist
wont go to yuta
i feel like it showed how much they didn't push a friendship with shotaro
that yuta is going to be pushed in japan tbh

I feel like Johnny could leave and hit it off well on becoming a streamer. He‘s charming and warm. You just can’t help but be drawn in by his presence. I’m happy for him that he has JCC. He seems to be very close with every member too.
Jisung is cute, but you’re right. There will be more babies to come in the future.

I do think shotaro and yuta have a friendship I agree it’s not showing as much as the other members but I think that’s because shotaro is still ajusting in nct but yuta did mention he and shotaro do play games together
also I can see yuta going solo further down the line and really well in japan

I agree yuta could go solo
but i mean sm has a habit of pushing friendships like chenji and mark and haechan etc
and yuta and shotaro haven't even had there own youtube video together would be so simple
yuta teaching shotaro Korean would be so cute
plus yuta rarely speaks Japanese anymore tbh and and when they have Japanese debuts unless you know nct you wouldn't know yuta is the Japanese member

I think I've said this on one of your threads already today but I think Jisung still has some time left as the maknae of NCT plus even if they do add a younger member, they will probably be for a foreign unit so they probably won't get pushed as the "Maknae of NCT" until the next big whole group album. Honestly, I can see Jisung going onto have a big solo career outside of NCT so I'm not really worried about him.

I think Johnny will be fine since a lot of his popularity is based on his personality so even if another member comes in with the same skills as him, they can't necessarily "replace" him.

You've got a point about Yuta though I think he's gonna be stuck being out of the background members in NCT tbh...

I thought about this last night but if SM do make a Japanese unit then I think they might pull a Winwin and replace Yuta with Sungchan in 127...

I doubt this tbh
due to the riots going on with winwin not being in the next 127 comeback
and yuta already having angry fans due to lack of lines

and plus the age gap between shotaro and yuta being 5 years
and i doubt shotaro will be the youngest member
specially in a brand new japanese unit
J01 youngest member was 17 at debut and that was seen as old
japan debuts kids at like 10/11
obv sm doesnt youngest being 13/14

but let say sm debuts a 14 year old
[remembering they auditioning for up to 2008 what is 11 and there debuting this year]
yuta 25 shotaro 20 newbie 14 = 11 year age gap

plus yuta is a singer sungchan a rapper
wouldnt be a great swap
