so i had my second day of school today
it is online so far because lockdown here

this one teacher was bitching she does not want to see people on cam with pyjamas on

and i am sitting there on my second day on cam like

honestly i get it, when at an actuall school building in a classroom you can expect and ask people to be in normal clothing
but when im at home and i don't have to leave my house
YOU ARE NOT GOING TO TELL ME WITH YO PREPPY AND ENTITLED FACE I CAN'T WEAR COMFY SHIT IN FRONT OF A CAM
TRYING TO TELL ME WHAT I CAN AND CANNOT WEAR IN MY OWN FKIN HOME
WHO THE FAK DOES SHE THINK SHE IS

what does this even mean
i cannot wear a bathrobe if i am getting cold because i have to sit still for 3 hours in front of a cam listening to you talking?

I think it's unrealistic to expect students to dress in regular clothes for your class on a Zoom session. The reason why we're on Zoom in the first place is because we're in the middle of a pandemic and everyone has been dealing with it in their own way. It's a hard time for us all. If it makes you feel better to wear super comfy clothes while on Zoom why should the teacher care?

The only way I can see it being recommended to wear more formal or at least not pajama wear is if you have like a job interview on Zoom or something and you have to be on cam.

Thankfully mine have been very accomodating to our needs during this time and trying to make us all feel comfortable. I wish others could be the same.
