^^ because I miss eah and the character designs I'm sorry but Disney descendents was horrid in every way imaginable

mine is always fluctuating between maddie, the narrator, lizzie, and briar
sparrow and duchess had a great thing going on, loved their team rocket comedic duo vibes

I didn't like briar too much at the beginning, it felt like she was a plot device to make everyone do reckless stuff, but I really enjoyed her character development after she told apple off

people honestly don't give eah enough credit for its writing
yes this is me being salty that we'll never get to see how darling being apple's "prince charming" would've played out

hahhahaha i liked her clothes and the doll i had had such a pretty dress so she obviously became my 15-year-old self's favourite

eah has really good writing surprisingly lol, even now i still read it once in a while just for kicks

they really nailed maddie's whimsical wonderlandian vibe imo, I feel like most authors miss the essence about wonderland: they interpret it as straight up weird and wacky, when it's really just nonsense with its own logic
