According to wikipedia, the song was played in the movie Top Gun, starred by Tom Cruise. So maybe that's where I heard it.

Never listened to this song before; or to this band at all. I looked it on yt. I think the band had gotten some bad criticism, even being called the worst band. I can't have an opinion. I think I moderately like the song.

Ohh, interesting. I kinda know that duo; but the cover is not what I remember. I think it's most likely that I heard it on the Top Gun movie. I loved the movie back in the days.
