Do you have to have absolute quiet when you sleep or do you need noise? (1 Viewer)

I have to have noise, a podcast or a video game playthrough so I can sleep. I can't sleep to music either because I get distracted by it but silence stresses me out when I'm tryna sleep

I´m okay with SOME noise, like typing, tv, some quiet music, but tbh when my neighbours were reconstructing their flat and trying how much does it take to take a building down .... I slept too :D.
I just love sleeping :D.

I need a fan running or some AC running. Just something that calms me down and tells my brain its time to sleep. But too much noise is a no no and no noise makes it VERY hard for me.

Its not noise or silence but i need my brain to shutdown in order to enable me to sleep, sometimes by watching tv till my brain gets tired or reading a book/my phone till i doze off. I can probably sleep thru any noise maybe, one of my brothers snores rlly loudly n when younger if we shared a room together, im one of the few ppl who could sleep thru any noises till the next morning. Uhm, lots of ppl couldnt. HaHaHa.

A like quiet constant noises, like youtube videos playing in the background. But there are times when I can't really make noises to go to bed, so I've gotten used to just sleeping in silence as well. I can't sleep with a ton of noise around though, that just keeps me awake and frustrated

The only way I can sleep without any noise is if someone else is sleeping in the same room as me. Every night I always set up a variety show episode and fall asleep to that, I get scared easily without it.
