I'm slowly starting to get more into drag (1 Viewer)

Not me, myself getting into drag but watching Drag Queen content.

I used to not really understand the hype (which is truly shocking as a gay guy apparently) about Drag, not that I particularly hated it or anything, I just didn't find it that much interesting until like a week ago where my recommendation page was suddenly full of RuPaul's Drag Race Video.

I just really love how most of the don't give a f*ck about anything but themselves and just ooze of confidence.
Not to say that I lowkey love the shade and insults they throw the most.
I haven't watched any whole season of Drag Race cuz I ain't got time for that. However I always click on recommended videos now.

Anyway.... you totally should start watching Drag Race or Dragula. It‘s super fun, silly and I get your point about the shade but it‘s just kinda specific to the Drag Scene. Also the first seasons had queens acting super unapologetic. As it got world wide, a lot of queens seem to hold back in a way. Tho granted it is entertaining regardless.


Currently people LOVE the second season of Drag Race UK more than S13 (both the american- original - show and the uk version are currently airing at the same time). I honestly think tho to really get into it you have to start with the first season since yes it wasn’t perfect but it was the start and a lot hot perfected from trial and error.

I also wan to add that the queen on the thumbnail is Bianca Del Rio who is known as the insult comic of drag. Like she definitely is just crazy witty and notices every detail. But a lot of people do say she is super nice outside of her drag act.

Yeah I've seen people say the last few seasons of the American version are much worse and that the 2 UK Seasons are so much better quality-wise.
My favorite segment is definitely the Snatch Game tho. Might start checking it out from the first season on soon

well the thing is S 11 was just not it and even the girls aren’t close to each other compared to how close usually the girls from a season are. S12 tho was awesome and I do personally enjoy S13 and it‘s a season with a fabulous snatch game.

I personally LOVE snatch game the most with the rusicals, and the balls.

You can even check full rusicals out on youtube. I just recently re-watched the one from S6 (Shades).

Also most people would say S6 is the best season out there with a super strong Top3. S9 is also one that people absolutely love despite some saltines cause people can’t accept the Finale which reminds me of All Stars 3.

I do too but Shakesqueer was a choice also comparing the rusical from S7 with the far superior one from S6 I do see why especially when it aired people were not living for the season as much.

I am also unsure how good that snatch game was? like only Ginger and Pearl stuck out I think? and usually an unspectacular snatch game makes a season feel kinda off? idk.

yeah but sooooo many icons came from that season violet katya trixie kennedy and the untucked epidsodes were decent as well the queens from season 7 just felt very authentic like they weren’t just there for camera time and ig followers
