I think this year is the first tim I don't celebrate St. Patrick's Day, since I'm not in Ireland.


We usually eat lamb or pie, visit parades and wear green the whole day.

No, but some expats n testaurants hold celebrations here. Nvr been to any myself n i think this yr n last may hv been not celebrated or low key celebration only, not sure tho. Nvr noticed unless i come across an announcement some yrs. Not this yr or last yr.

it's not a thing where i live so not really

I don't really celebrate it personally, it's more just of an acknowledgement of it, work places and schools get you to wear green, bars and pubs have drinking specials etc. (obviously those are still closed so people would have been drinking at home)

I've only celebrated it once with my ex when I was a teenagee, since he is half Irish his favourite is green generally so it an excuse for him to over do the green lol
