i didn’t know he was on hiatus from the group?? something about a sugar daddy? where’s the tea?

All I know is that Jae said sth about Sugar Daddies which has a negative connotation in Korea so KMyDays were upset and demanded an apology which they seemingly accepted, sad tho cuz streaming brought Jae so much joy but he has to stop doing it for now because of this

I did post thread about it, but I titled it I hate kpop. cause honestly i hate it here. Kpop sucks, fandom sucks, everything sucks.

He has been on hiatus almost a year due to his mental health. Can't see it being better now so I guess that continues. He was off-stream and make dude about sugar daddy. Couple of his friends was streaming so someone clipped it, tweeted about it, korean fans translated it to korean and got mad cause sugar daddy means different thing in korean. He first explained in korean on stream but kfans didn't like his tone- he said it was cultural difference and asked plp to not watch then. So Day6 fan union made letter to JYP about it. Apparently JYP made him delete Twitch and post that apology. And now he can't stream with all his new friends.

nooooooooooooooooooooo, I love Jae´s streaming, heck. does anyone know if he is getting "kicked out of" Dive studios too? please he is really great at talking :/. the only person to make me watch his Twitch content

Oh god I hope not? I think he shouldn't anyways cause streaming was hobby for him but Dive studios is work and I don't see people who tune in to Dive studios caring about this scandal it's in English. Though ofc it will depend his mental health too, will he able to participate in podcast with this happening. Dive also released his Mindset audio records on the app middle of all this so I think they will continue to support him? Though who knows about JYP, but I really hope not. JYP has taken so much from already.

yeah it is in English, but it is still set up in Korea. on the other hand, a lot of artists talk about their difficulties on there including their debut days etc. which is not exactly idol-ideal so hopefully we ae safe. but yeah, he seems like quite a gentle fella and had been through a lot. hopefully his contract with JYP is coming to an end and he´ll go solo? he has a lot to give and his talent is really not just in singing.
