I mean her claim to fame was that she 'could have been a SNSD member', i think it got annoying for people after a while cause it was constantly mentioned, then she tried a music solo career that didn't really take off. But beside that she's always been acting and modelling from that point, (dramas and adult themed shows, has her image has always been more of a sex symbol type) ut she had a lawsuit against her old company in 2017 so there would have been lack of activity during her contract disputes thats probably why she hasn't been in anything since then.. She might have something this year maybe if she has a new company I guess, wait and see really.

Possibly, especially if she was type cast for particular sexier roles or typical hot girl roles, doesn't give much room to grow as an actress, innocent look sells better for everyday dramas, although I'm not sure how good of an actress she is in generally to Korean public. Her last appearance in dramas and films was like 2019 I think...it could be that maybe she just didn't want to do anything and just enjoy married life for a bit or she just didn't get any offers for work because the other up and coming actress Korea entertainment world is heavily saturated, so taking break for bit means that other people will be there to take the popularity. Also she was very Chinese program focused rather then Korean in her latest years so that could also be a reason.
I don't think Knetz take that well to her still as she was known to make contradicting statements about herself, saying one thing then denying it later on in other interviews, not sure why she did that very early on in her career, you know knetz don't like to let things go.
