is when people get shady about others switching opinions as new information comes out
I find it so ridiculously stupid to think that changing their views on a topic once they get fed more information and evidence is a bad thing, and it's honestly such a pathetically bigoted way to operate
part of growing is to be open to acknowledging that some previous conceptions were incorrect, and to think that you are superior (and celebrate it) because you never change your beliefs even as contradictory evidence comes out just exposes how ignorant you
obviously, quality of the original claims play a factor in it, but to scoff at others who continuously edit their opinions in murky situation is laughable at best

Honestly this...it's possible for a person to change their stance the second they learn more about it. Also, we need to normalize also saying that you don't know anything about a subject and therefore are unable to give an opinion on it.
