For myself, I define it as stanning more than 3 groups probably and both male and female.
So I am a multi stan because I stan like 15 boy groups and like 3 girl groups, but a majority bg stan

More than one i guess. Though if they only stan groups from one company i usually think them as company stan (not that they love the company but just that they love their groups).

By that definition, I'd be a gg stan, yet I don't consider that I would only stan ggs. The situation of me stanning ggs only right now has to do more on what each group has to offer, and what bgs are offering right now is not stan material for me. Super Dragon came close, but shied away.

well in that case depnding on how m any groups you stan you can j ust call yoruself a stan of those groups. for me, its not having to do with just being more interested in gg than bg, it's a matter of the groups you actually stan. because i have been a bg stan for a long long time that also consistently listens to every girl group title track and some albums too depending, but because it's not what i'm looking for then i didn't call myself a multistan. for me it's the personalities in the end that decides if i "stan" or not, and i didn't have a personal connection to any of the girl groups i listened to until itzy. so it's a different definition of stan material for everyone
