Thanks to the lovely @Lovely_Cornchips , my boyfriend and I are starting our own version of her series ranking title tracks from different groups. Provided this is going to be a different style of ranking since I am not nearly as good at writing the descriptions out as Chipsie is.

We categorized the songs as title tracks as long as they have an MV and included Rose and Jennie's debuts
For a background, my bf and I have both been into kpop for 6+ years and so we've actually been with BlackPink since before debut but we are not Blinks

BF

1. as if it's your last - he finds it extremely catchy nostalgic and happy
2. kiss and make up - because it's great, great chorus and percussion
3. ddu ddu ddu - he thinks the song is pretty much structurally and technically perfectly done but he doesnt like it as much as the other 2
4. sour candy - different, hard hitting, but too short
5. playing with fire - different, has a cool feeling
6. stay - nice and warm and cute
7. whistle - he didn't like it at first but there is something about it that is interesting
8. how you like that - he listens to it a lot but he doesn't think it's amazing
9. boombayah - he likes everything about it but the OPPA
10. on the ground - weird song that he likes but probably wouldn't play it on repeat
11. solo - great prechorus, really dislikes the drop
12. lovesick girls - key change that he doesn't like
13. kill this love - hates the brass in the drop but likes the verses
14. ice cream - cheesy lyrics, kind of cringey in his opinion

ME
1. ddu ddu ddu - Really fun, the raps are amazing, everything about the song is amazing
2. playing with fire - This song has a very interesting feel to it, it feels a bit melancholic and so cool
3. whistle - Same with PWF, a very unique to BlackPink kind of feel
4. kiss and make up - just a good pop song in every way
5. as if it's your last - very fun to listen to, their lines are really fun
6. on the ground - a really cool drop, and rose sounds beautiful
7. how you like that - really catchy but not as catchy as the bangers before
8. stay - a really sweet and warm song that i like to listen to in a certain mood
9. boombayah - lower on the list probably bc i played it too much, but it's very fun and a great debut
10. solo - i love the drop for this song, i find the verses more forgettable though
11. kill this love - probably ranked low bc of the fact that it doesn't do anything to reinvent their own formula and so i was a bit disappointed, its very blackpink
12. sour candy - not satisfying even though it's interesting, the song is basically too short
13. ice cream - the lyrics are bad, but it's very catchy
14. lovesick girls - i hate the vocals in the chorus as they're mixed together it sounds like they're offkey, so i usually listen to gaho's cover of it since i like the song otherwise​

since I am not nearly as good at writing the descriptions out as Chipsie is.

It's mainly because my BF plays music so he uses words I don't even know most of the time and that helps with the descriptions-it is NOT me. But thank you for the compliment.

I would say your BF and I are closely matched on the top one than you and I since I really enjoy As If It's Your Last.
