Do you listen pop music outside of kpop or some other genre? (1 Viewer)

Before I was into kpop I listened mostly rock music, lot of alternative rock from USA/UK and some JROCK as well. Even tried out Visual Kei, but wasn't for me. Since then my taste has become more pop (maybe cause it's harder to find good rock music these days sad), but I still don't listen to mainstream pop outside of kpop. I have couple jpop artists I like, but apart from that I listen mostly subgenres of electronic. There is couple pop songs I like, but they pale in comparison how much I listen to other stuff.

I guess mainstream pop is catchy, but it just doesn't hold my interest.

I don't listen to any western pop (only western stuff I like is metal/alternative), but I listen to some j-pop and thai music, also french rap and that's about as far as my music taste goes

I still listen to Western rock, but rock from my childhood -- not into the new stuff. I listen to J-Pop, J-Rock, R&B. I also have a few pop songs.

I feel the same about my brother’s music

Apart from Japanese and then Chinese versions of songs, I only listen to Kpop.
