i kinda really want a unit based nowhere...
127/dream = korea --- wayv=china...
i need a nct world...

Ok imagine a unit with members from all over....

this unit would mostly promote online...
and has no limits on countries it visits etc
so we could randomly see them visit a uk show...
the purpose of this unit it bring nct too the world...
so will aim to promote were other units are not at [can promote in America if 127 isn't currently there kind of thing]

this would be a unit nct could easily have there first non asian members [[[too help promote over seas]]]
i could see this unit only promoting once a year for the most part
and the members not in other units will do solo work... or online stuff i.e twitch, youtube etc


i used hrvy as i feel he could work
as he is a solo artist and has ties with nct
and i feel the non asian would need to have some sort of solo thing going on

There's honestly no need for a solely international version of NCT, the west already has enough boy groups, and tbqh what language are you expecting them to sing in? English or Korean? If English, that's just another basic pop group, if Korean, just go stan EXP EDITION.

Also, as we've seen from the likes of Hongbin of VIXX and Jae from DAY6, you can't have idols on Twitch, it doesn't work, it creates controversy and would create issues in Korea (even international units are still under Korean companies and therefore subject to their expectations lest it reflect badly on the company/other units).

And lastly, most people don't get into Kpop to see random non-Asians. Most groups with non-Asian members do not do well at all aside from having niche fandoms of Westerners. Not only that, but foreigners are often treated badly by companies and the public alike.

From a marketing, profitability, and cultural standpoint, this will never happen.

im seeing this unit as more as a marketing unit not a full on unit
hrvy was wanted by fans to join so if they went around it same way they did with him i see no issue
plus nct has already been announced to have future units all across the world
so i see this unit be more as fill in the gaps unit
will promote in all languages mostly Korean - English - Spanish - Chinese
when i say twitch i didnt mean exactly how jae did it more control by the company

i dont see the western solo members to be classed as full on members either so wont be in full group promotions etc
and i see nct eventually having non asian members other wise how do you think they going do nct africa

i see this unit being super experimental and mostly promoted online and heavily managed due to sensitivity

i know this will never happen just think it would be cool to see
as i always wondered what a world wide unit would be like
as at the end of the day if sm gets what they want we will have unit basically everywhere
so a unit what connects them would be cool
