Before you roll your eyes and think "another pointless thread about the weather", let me remind you we are in MID APRIL and it is SNOWING HERE. It has been snowing for the whole week, but thanks to the fact that the temperatures are slightly above zero, almost all snow melts immediately, but the sole fact that it is snowing!!!!!
can we not?! can we get out of winterland?

I understand the weather is something else honestly.

I mean we had snow last week then the next day was quite hot.. But English weather is pretty random like that...
I remember a couple of years ago had heavy snow in March and April.. And rain comes when it feels like it honestly, random hail storms too.

I want to say I'm use to it after 31 years but it fucks with my body and I end up having a lot of head colds and getting sick due to the temperature change.

oh well, yeah. I mean the mild climate does that to you and plus Britain is just known for its unstable rainy weather. I live in Europe too and here April is usually rainy, temperature around 10 degrees above zero, changeable weather etc. March can be snowy, it is not usual but it is not that rare either. I have been through Marches that were snowy and more winter-like, but mid-April is just crazy :D.
It´s not the temperature that gets me tbh, it´s the SNOW.
It feels like time has stopped, you know? the quarantine, the weather .... I cannot imagine what it must feel like being home since October which is basically when the schools closed and they still haven´t opened yet for secondary school pupils and high schoolers.
that´s just insane. the concept of time disappeared :D

Yeah, I totally get that. I've been home since March last year, my son be in and out of school since spetember (primary school) so it be hard adjust finding a job and find somewhere to care for him when he's not at school.. We're coming out of lockdown slowly but surely here but my area has been hit with an increase of covid recently so I'm not sure how it's going to go.
...i cant actually remember most of last year though it was quite mundane but oddly normal.

Lucky for me I like winter seasons, Warm weather is hell for me generally.
