Just wondering if anyone has tips to getting a workout routine/working out routinely/becoming confident to work out?
I haven't exercised on a regular basis since high school years ago and I'm interested in working out to gain muscle rather than lose weight. I've never been good at lifting weights and I've only been to a gym once but I'm interested in things I can do at home. I'm definitely willing to buy weights so that isn't much of a problem.
What inspires you to work out, if anything? YouTube videos, podcasts? Music? I'm open to anything.
I'm not very confident about getting a gym membership yet... unless I talk my best friend into doing it with me. I fear for being around strangers who intimidate me/might creep me out.
