Is it bad that idk what my irl friends listen to i just know they know i listen to kpop

it depends who. One of my friends has a pretty eclectic taste and loves Bollywood and the other enjoys BTS/Blackpink, US-rap, R&B

my closest friends listen to music from the 70s/80s/90s which is our main interest that we have in common. also i have a friend who's just into whatever they're playing on the radio here and whenever she talks about a song she likes i'm like "wait what..." but it's okay since it goes the other way round too tried getting some of my friends into kpop but it didn't work

My roommate: Christian (she's devout Catholic), country, some pop but not a lot
My other friend: Hip-hop/R&B, pop, country (like me, except I don't listen to hip-hop)
My mom: classical, oldies, adult contemporary
My dad: classic rock

So yeah, none of my friends and family listen to K-pop. I've been tryna convert my roommate to K-pop and have so far been... I'd say semi-successful? I got her to like Monsta X, Twice, and Loona, but not really enough to download their music or become a fan. lol Same for my parents - I introduced them to BTS, and originally they said BTS wasn't really their cup of tea, but then Dynamite came out and they've started liking them a little bit more. But again, not enough to be full-fledged fans.
