When you listen to albums do you care.. (1 Viewer)

How well the songs fit together and how coherent the album feels? Do you notice when there is good flow from song to another? Or do you just pay attention to how good individual songs are and maybe even prefer them to be as diverse as possible?

I usually don't listen music in album form, but actually in a way that I prefer diversity. Not complete whiplash, but I actually don't like when songs are too similar cause it feels like they blend together too much.

I like that, it's good to have theme but the songs should be able to stand their own too.

It was truly a masterpiece!!! My favourite album overall of last year I am still listening to it pretty frequently

i don't pay attention to things like that at all, when the songs are good the songs are good and that is all that matters even if they sound similar or completely different from each other

I don't usually listens to albums as a whole so whether they blend well together doesn't matter to me

As long as the songs don't sound too similar then I don't mind, so I'd prefer even if the songs are wildly different bc at least i can differentiate them

Not really, I listen to playlist more so than albums.

Yeah I find albums easier to listen to if the song order has been well thought out. EXO's albums are always really good for being coherent.

I barely really care about it unless there's some really crazy good transition to the next song
