Cathedral Chedder (Mature) is what I mostly have lol

I dont think S.E.A. has sophisticated cheeses like this for sale here, or at least not tat i know of. My aunt might know.

Brie is the top tier cheese

Is tat one of those stinky cheeses? If so i might pass. I avoid stinky food unless its durians, maybe.

Idk if you can find it in foreign countries...
Btw Emmental is Swiss too

Iv heard of Emmentaler from somewheres, its both a place n the name of a cheese, i think. Not sold here, or i nvr noticed/looked. Probably only sold on upmarket/import grocery stores, which iv nvr stepped foot in. Or iv looked at the entrance but tats all. Imported stuff like tat in S.E.A. is expensive. N maybe hard to find.

Wait, arent u British? When i visited my brother in the UK, London-there werent many burger places; more doner kebabs n fish n chips shops then. Also dim sum n indian restaurants (we dint go to posh english/western food restaurants much).
Has it changed so much since i was there?

Not sure about London as I don't go often at all. Fish 'n' Chips is like the British go-to takeout haha. It's great to have walking along the beach lol.

It's actually hard not to find a place that doesn't do burgers when you visit a local countryside restaurant. My mates often laugh at me when we go to eat out at a restaurant as I always choose a burger.

So talking about sophistication, you'll be surprised at how many of our foods have the Royal Crest on it and a tag line of "By Appointment to Her Majesty the Queen..."

Iv been to a Southern English city/beach side place, i think. It was many yrs ago.

In fact i rmbr going to Leeds, Reading, Cambridge, Birmingham n the Lake country(or watever u call it) n some castles/arthurian related place, n stonehenge but we had to be far away from the stones(think i took a photo but for the life of me cant find it now.)

I know of Gouda from reading the name/abt it in magazines/internet but no idea how it tastes. Is it good-a? How do you like to eat it?

Tat sounds like how westerners react to durian/stinky tofu in Asia but only the 1st part, most cant get over the smell to get to eating it(iv nvr tried stinky tofu cos im too westernised). I may nvr try stinky Gouda cheese unless i am in a culturally sensitive position to do so. Since i dont expect to i probably nvr will.

There are a lot of non-dairy cheeses out there actually. Some are good, some are terrible
Some aren't even made with any kind of milk either

If its too sweet i might try the least sweet cheese first. I prefer cheddar/parmesan as i dont find it sweet.

I rmbr now i once saw a program abt cheese making where the wheels of cheese were aged n ppl on the show cut small bits off to taste, but transport to S.E.A. would be too prohibitive/non cost effective. I shd hv time travelled so i could taste the cheese when i had the chance but i saw the program after i was bk in Asia i think.
