I was more or less always the friend they came to to cry their feelings out, tell me their worries but I have no idea why cuz most of the times I couldn't give them any advice or really comfort them

I wonder, i guess it depends what kind of consoling they are looking for. Id like to think about issue they bring up, try to discuss solutions and give advice. Sometimes plp can look for that, but sometimes they just want to speak their mind and somebody to listen and im not too good at that...

I'm always down to listen to ppl when they're sad? But besides that I'm pretty bad at comforting ppl

Yeah, I'm good at consoling... kinda crap at advice, but I know whenever my roommate gets really sad I'm able to console her by (virtually) hugging her and using kind words.

No. Mostly because when I feel bad I like to be left alone, so I don't understand what to say or do when someone needs or wants someone else in those types of situations.

Depends on what they are looking for as I usually think logically about the situations and use that to find solutions
