If you don't know what it is then I'll just put a definition of it right here -

I was discussing this with my mom in the car earlier today, but I don't think she understood when I tried to explain it to her. I even described it as "feeling like a robot" in a sense, especially since it feels hard for me to function when I experience it.

I get this symptom a lot when I'm anxious and one of my biggest triggers for it is noise. It's pretty overwhelming tbh.

Have any of you experienced it?

A lot tbh. I try to avoid crowds because that's how it usually gets triggered.

If I have a person or thing that I can totally focus on then I'm pretty ok.

I don't like being in crowds either. I'm prone to having panic attacks when I'm in busy/public areas, and noisy places make it far worse.

That's why I don't like sitting down at restaurants for example. The noise is just too hard to block out and I'd rather not sit there and suffer tbh

oh definitely. I think restaurants that don't have as much décor or bright lights are easier to tolerate when busy otherwise it feels like there's way too much going on. I don't think its ever given me a panic attack but I do get really dizzy and feel like I could pass out lol

I have issues with vibrations and noise. IF they happen at the same time and they ESPECIALLY don't match up my brain cannot focus and I get beyond overwhelmed and feel like I'm short circuiting and the only proper response is anger.
