Not wanting to start useless thread (2 Viewers)

Am I the only one who doesn't want to start useless threads just to be able to complete the daily quest?
Do I look like I got idea's for 3 threads EVERY day?

for thread ideas you could do like "comment and i'll _____" and then do something like that. I do some like that sometimes like yesterday I did "comment and I'll tell you what I honestly think about you"

all threads are useful ... at least that is what others will tell you. personally, I make it my goal to make at least one kpop related thread per day. I do sometimes make general threads but I hope I can say not that often.

also, literally no one is pushing you to do it :D. there are a lot of people who go by without participating in threads and live on free cards days and occasional cards if they feel like posting more :)

Its not official, but it is stickied so there you go. You pays your moneys n you makes your choice. Oh you say you dint pay anything, well tats okay too according to tradition or at least i hvnt heard anything to the contrary. Read the linked thread n decide for ur self.no one here is forcing you to do anything you dont want to. Unless we're in the Matrix n the programmer or watever the old man's name was is making you do sth. LOL.

Otherwise, just do as you choose/decife.

all threads are useful ... at least that is what others will tell you. personally, I make it my goal to make at least one kpop related thread per day. I do sometimes make general threads but I hope I can say not that often.

You just joined on 2021.05.13 n its only 3.36am on 2021.05.14 -you already hv 25+ msgs n 1 thread n yoh know abt cards n daily requirements. Your confusion seems feigned to me, like an act but good acting/performance art is also entertaining/satisfying in its own right, especially if you fake it till you make it. If you break the facade or get caught pretending tho, be careful. Id advise adapting slowly n acclimatising till you get the lay of the land n get used to it here if you can. Otherwise, not my playground, not my rules.

Don't feel any pressure to do what everyone else does-it's not a requirement to get a card every day. I legit only do it when I'm in the mood and feeling SOMEWHAT creative....but I also made a thread asking people if they picked their nose once so like...

Kit might just be quick to pick up on stuff or been a guest on here before and picked up on the entire card thing. I wouldn't assume they are feigning anything that's a bit presumptuous my friend. Also, they interact with multiple veterans on here so I'm sure they were informed through that too. I wouldn't throw accusations like that around so quickly...

I was specifically referencing kit's confusion abt "Maybe I'm just a bit confused cuz in other forums I've been in it was annoying for most people when someone made general thread without discussion potential yk?". It wasnt until kit replied to my post regarding making threads for dailies tat i questioned ONLY kit's confusion, nothing else. As it seemed incongruous with the knowledge of cards, making 3 threads for daily task n wat u say about having been on here before, interacting with multiple veterans here before n being informed tat way.

I was impressed at their their knowledge level while acknowledging being confused about forums generally disallowing threads without discussion potential, which afaik hasnt been much of a rule ever since 15 or 20 years ago in my experience on other forums previously.When bandwidth, engagement n other quantifiable criteria were more important, in the sense tat time, internet quotas n server charges were more expensive whereas in the last 5/10/15 yrs, instagram, twitter, discord, facebook n cheaper 3G/4G hv meant forums are more intent on keeping forum users hooked n most hvnt cared if you create a thread "without discussion potential" (unless maybe you're notmarbleboy) unless you are obviously trolling, which it was obvious to me kit wasnt. I was impressed with kit's multi level sophisticated knowledge of n yet stated confusion about KS forum. Hence my question/statement about performance art/fake it till you make it. It wasnt meant disparagingly or insultingly tho i see now how you or others may hv thot so.

I apologise for using the words "confusion seemed feigned to me". I was misstating my beliefs about kit. It needs far longer cpu cycles to express my beliefs by which time it will be long past where the discussion about wat i originally shd hv said belongs. Im srry for leading this thread in the wrong path.

Thanks for explaining more-I misread your post and thought you were accusing them of something. So thank you for that and I think I get what you mean now-but I know there is at least one other forum that I can't name that has made its rules more strict with the threads you can post and more and I know even on here it sometimes can be restricted if a thread gets off topic and things like that...so I don't know how unlikely it is that other forums aren't strict about it.

I meant generally tho, as there are probably thousands or hundred thousand forums out there if not millions rn.

N i saw a discussion/aftermath of off topic thread n posts/thread getting deleted/locked. I think or suspect mr crankypants was just idk having a rare day where he locked/deleted posts/thread once in a blue moon. It was nvr sth i noticed when kuro n jimimis were OT for long stretches of an ongoing thread, tho i was more of a lurker then n noticed only long after the fact. Plus there were barely 300~400 registered users then here on KS. Things were looser back in the first year of KS's existence as a forum maybe. Plus the past year has been different to say the least. If mr crankypants notices i mentioned him, he might just come in n lock/delete this thread, tho i would rebut it by giving forth tat every post is strictly relevant to the title, unless the title itself is spam-wgich i believe it is not. HaHaHaHa.

Has anybody ever considered following nugu groups on youtube and posting here their material? MVs almost nobody knows about, performances, dance practices, etc. How many kpop groups there are? I guess hundreds or thousands. How many are there on youtube? No idea. I only go after the Japanese ones. An unexploited source of threads? Who knows? Someone must begin subscribing to nugu groups channels and test the hypothesis.

true, on most forums, spamming is forbidden, but not here :D. you should see how many "what´s your favourite ice cream flavour" threads have we actually got on a kpop forum :D

I have posted several 24k new videos and the threads usually flop. might explain why no one has noticed. I have posted about Omega X, Reo does a lot for Blitzers, we have talked about the new group Kingdom, Kinnie was a bit fan .... yes, people have been hyping Aespa even befroe their debut. so yes :d
